Simon Tayoun counts himself lucky to be alive. So you tend to listen when he says: "I'm Raiders 'til I die."
Tayoun - who celebrated his 60th birthday on Wednesday - is one of the NRL's most dedicated fans. He travels to every Raiders game from Canberra to Las Vegas - well, at least barring North Queensland and the Gold Coast, where his drum is not welcome inside the stadium.
