Ethan Sanders faces the tough task of replacing the minor premiership-winning halfback, but predecessor Jamal Fogarty has set him up to take over the Green Machine’s reins.
The 21-year-old also hosed down assumptions the Canberra Raiders No.7 jersey is already his for round one.
With Fogarty joining Manly in the off-season, Sanders is the heir apparent as Raiders halfback, with 19-year-old Coby Black the only other halfback in the 30-man squad.
