Chevy Stewart views his poker machine incident as a "silly error" and is focused on his NRL career after avoiding conviction.
Chevy Stewart admits his run-in with a poker machine was a "very silly error", but he's put it behind him to focus on establishing himself as an NRL player.
Stewart spent the summer going through the NSW court system after pouring a beer on a pokie in Cronulla in September.
He avoided a conviction, but was placed on a one-year conditional release order in January.
Speaking to The Canberra Times for the first time, the 20-year-old said he wanted to put the frustrating period behind him and set his sights on getting his career back on track.
