Peter V'landys explains key detail behind plea for Donald Trump to attend NRL games in Vegas

ARLC chair wants Trump to attend NRL games in Vegas for exposure and interest in rugby league.

Peter V'landys, the big cheese over at the Australian Rugby League Commission, has been making waves with his bold move to try and rope in none other than Donald Trump to attend NRL games in Vegas.

V'landys is convinced that no one else in America could drum up as much interest in rugby league as the former President himself, hence his push to have him present at the season-opening games at Allegiant Stadium on March 2.

The ARLC chair has been talking up the potential exposure that Trump's presence would bring to the NRL, suggesting that it would be worth a pretty penny to the game.

With the NRL season kicking off once again in the glitzy city of Las Vegas, V'landys is pulling out all the stops to ensure President Trump is in the stands for the action-packed games, including Canberra facing off against the Warriors and Penrith taking on the Sharks.
