Warriors coach Andrew Webster has admitted his side got taught "a real good finals lesson" after they were thumped 32-6 by the Panthers in their qualifying final on Saturday.
Webster was an Penrith assistant during their back-to-back premierships over the past two years before joining the Warriors ahead of the 2023 season.
The rookie coach said his men "didn't put them under any pressure" and the Kiwi side will now host the Knights or Raiders next week in an elimination final.
"We got (taught) a real good finals lesson on pressure," Webster said.
