average career of an NRL player is just 45 games.

There's a reason only 46 men have played 300 first-grade games in Australia throughout the 115 years of rugby league history.

Ben Hunt will become the 47th on Saturday night when the veteran Dragons halfback faces the Cowboys in Townsville.
