Ask the Canberra Raiders five-eighth himself, and he can already start to feel the game slowing down as he emerges as one of the NRL's most promising halves for a side on the cusp of its first minor premiership in 35 years.

Strange's 61 tackle breaks are second only to Newcastle's Fletcher Sharpe (64) for halves across the NRL. Dig a little deeper and you'll find Sharpe recorded 16 - including 15 in one game against Penrith - while playing at fullback. Suddenly, Strange stands alone.
