Josh Papali'i faces suspension for a high shot on Sam Hughes during the Raiders' loss to the Bulldogs, causing on-field tension.
Canberra Raiders enforcer Josh Papali'i is facing a stint on the sidelines over a high shot on Bulldogs forward Sam Hughes.
The 33-year-old was put on report and sent to the sin bin over the incident during the Raiders' 14-10 loss to the Bulldogs at GIO Stadium.
As Hughes took a hit up in the first half he was collected by the shoulder of Corey Horsburgh before Papali'i came in over the top with a forceful blow to his nose.
It sparked a fracas between the teams as tension rose in the first half.
Hughes was forced from the field and did not return.
