There are calls for the NRL to stand down Canberra coach Ricky Stuart for the rest of the season with fines “not really working for those serial offenders”.
NRL officials will meet on Monday to decide on a sanction for Stuart after he called Panthers young gun
Jaeman Salmon “a weak-gutted dog”
in his post-match press conference on Saturday night.
The Salmon family called on the NRL to act, just hours after Stuart apologised for the outburst on Sunday.
Have I missed something? Or is kicking a player in their Tommy Starlings still an act of foul play?!? It's the very definition of a low blow!
