Reece Walsh unashamedly headbutted Hudson Young, who did nothing more than celebrate a poignant moment, before the Broncos star offered up a smug smile in the safe knowledge you're unlikely to be banned for the September big games.
Broncos fans are already attempting to defend their cult hero by pointing out Canberra's Morgan Smithies escaped suspension for a headbutt on Wests Tigers player Fonua Pole in June.
But fact is the NRL got it wrong with both Smithies and Walsh.
