Corey Horsburgh is at long odds to play again in 2023 after the Canberra firebrand was slapped with a four-game ban following his failed judiciary appeal.
Horsburgh headed to the NRL judiciary on Tuesday aiming to have a grade-one shoulder charge penalty on Brisbane's Corey Jensen dismissed.
Owing to his previous indiscretions, Horsburgh was facing a three-game ban.
But by rolling the dice and losing his appeal he has been slapped with a further week's suspension.
"I'm very disappointed with the result, I think four weeks is a bit much but onwards and upwards," Horsburgh said.
