Queanbeyan Kangaroos captain-coach Sam Williams was awarded the 2023 Les McIntyre Medal for the Best & Fairest of the Canberra Raiders Cup First Grade competition.
The prestigious award came down to the final round when it was revealed that Matthew Woolnough who was leading the tally on 20 points, one ahead of Williams, polled one point in the final round, while Williams polled three.
