Lachlan Croker cites a collision leading to concussion as reason for his medical retirement at 28.
An unfortunate collision with former teammate Josh Papali'i's shoulder is what Manly star Lachlan Croker believes was the catalyst to his medical retirement from rugby league at the age of 28.
In an emotional video released by the Sea Eagles announcing his transition into coaching at Manly, the Goulburn product and former Raider revealed his lengthy battle with concussion symptoms following an accidental knock in a tackle while playing against Canberra last year.
"Four or five days after [the tackle] I couldn't get out of my room," Croker said.
