But surely it was inevitable for the Melbourne Storm prop with the same name as Queanbeyan, Raiders and Storm great Glenn Lazarus.
When he runs out for Melbourne against the Penrith Panthers on Sunday he'll make history as the least experienced player in an NRL grand final.
