Jake Trbojevic faces potential career-ending concussions this season, having worked on neck strength and tackling technique after multiple injuries last year.
Jake Trbojevic is entering this season knowing one more head knock could mean the end of his illustrious career.
The former NSW captain has spent the entire off-season working on his neck strength and fixing his tackling technique, but heading into his 13th season in the NRL, Trbojevic knows there is only so much he can control when it comes to the concussions that had him sidelined for the majority of 2025.
Trbojevic suffered three concussions last season, losing his State of Origin jersey in the middle of the year, before the shoulder of Canberra front-rower Josh Papali'i put an end to his year in Round 23.
Following the concussion against the Raiders, many called for Trbojevic to hang up the boots, and while he will run out for the Sea Eagles this year, problems will arise if the Manly lock cops another concussion.
