    EXCLUSIVE: Departed Wests Tigers forward Peter Taateo has finalized an agreement to join a new club, ensuring he can continue his rugby league career into the next season.

    Taateo, who was previously on the Canberra Raiders roster, transferred to the Wests Tigers during the 2025 season. Although he caught the attention of club officials with his performance, he did not reach first-grade, playing a total of 11 matches in the NSW Cup.

    This promising young prop is a former Under-16s NSW Blues representative and has also been associated with the Parramatta Eels and Penrith Panthers systems. He is seen as a player to watch in the upcoming seasons, particularly with the introduction of new teams like the Perth Bears and PNG Chiefs.
