The NSW Cup team emerged victorious with a 36-24 win, earning them two important points.
This win places the Raiders in eighth position on the ladder, just two points behind the second-placed Warriors in what is an extremely competitive ladder.
The Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg teams will be battling it out this Sunday afternoon at Raiders Belconnen against the Newcastle Knights.
The action will kick off with the Jersey Flegg match at 1:15pm, followed by the Cup match at 3pm.
For Raiders Members, entry is free, while non-members will have to pay $5.
The Raiders NSW Cup team suffered a narrow defeat against the Warriors on Friday, with a nail-biting finish resulting in a 21-20 loss at Go Media Stadium in Auckland.
The Green Machine started strong, as Nick Cotric made a line break down the right edge, allowing Adrian Trevilyan to cross the try line in the 4th minute.
Chevy Stewart successfully converted, giving the Raiders an early 6-0 lead.
