Canberra Raiders faced a record 56-6 loss; Sharks' Faulkner, Verran, and Hannaway set new NRLW records.
It was the definition of a tough day at the office for the Canberra Raiders as the club suffered the equal-biggest defeat in NRLW history on Saturday afternoon.
It wasn't the only record set at Canberra Stadium in the 56-6 drubbing.
Sharks rookie Steph Faulkner became the first NRLW prop to score a double on debut, Emma Verran's four tries made her the first NRLW player from Cronulla to score a hat-trick (or more), and Georgia Hannaway's eight conversions equalled the record for most goals in a match.
