Canberra Raiders prop Corey Horsburgh is a shock omission from Queensland's State of Origin side.

Maroons coach Billy Slater named his team on Monday morning with Horsburgh's name a notable absence.

Instead, Slater has gone with Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika as his starting front row - despite Horsburgh being part of a Green Machine that overran the Gold Coast pair in a 40-24 demolition at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.
