Young and Smithies are best mates and are so close that their girlfriends have been travelling around the United States together. Young's girlfriend Kelsea Peck and Smithies' partner Tara Stoddart are holidaying together while their boyfriends are in Vegas preparing to take on the Warriors on Sunday.
Smithies and Young were forced to front the media on Monday (Tuesday morning Aussie time) after becoming embroiled in the NRL's first behavioural issue in Vegas. It's believed the duo had returned to the Resorts World hotel after a night out, when a mix-up left one of them without a room.
