Canberra Raiders forward Noah Martin has been sent for scans on both ankles after a hip-drop tackle from Apisai Koroisau.

The forward was the recipient of a tackle from Tigers hooker Apisai Koroisau in the 25th minute of Thursday night's loss to open Round 8.

While Koroisau was sin-binned and has since been slapped with a Grade 2 charge that will cost him three matches with an early guilty plea or four if he fights and loses, Martin managed to play on in pain, but was eventually taken out of the game at the 43-minute mark.

    He did not return.

  • Do it for longer: Bellamy reveals how Storm can turn around horror losing streak

Raiders release 2025 debutant in move that sends outside back to Storm

Storm coach Craig Bellamy urges team to play fully to end five-game losing streak against Rabbitohs in Round 8.

    Zero Tackle

Frustrated Storm coach Craig Bellamy knows his side must execute for longer, if they are to end a five-game losing streak in their Round 8 home clash against the Rabbitohs on Saturday night.

Melbourne has not tasted victory since its Round 2 thrashing of the Dragons on March 14. Since then, the Storm have lost to the Broncos, Cowboys, Panthers, Warriors and Raiders; the first time since 2012 they have dropped five on the bounce.

Bellamy's side is in unchartered waters, sitting 15th on the table, and the Storm mentor is desperate to turn things around before it gets too late.

"We just seem to find ways of not playing for the 80 minutes, we're playing 50 or 60 minutes" Bellamy said on Friday.
