    Fox League

Raiders star Tom Starling has called out an ugly rant from a social media troll that included abuse aimed at his partner after his scuffle with Tigers flyer Sunia Turuva.

In the aftermath of the Tigers' 33-14 win at Leichhardt oval, Starling and Turuva were caught in a heated moment and had to be separated by teammates, but the pair left it on the field.

However, Starling and his partner were subjected to disgusting abuse from a social media user, who launched an ugly attack on the Raiders star's Instagram account.

Starling published the ugly comments on his Instagram story calling out the vile behaviour.

"Say what you want about the players, leave women out of it, don't be this guy," Starling wrote on his Instagram story.

MRC comes down with severe call on Koroisau hip-drop

Apisai Koroisau faces a possible three to four-match suspension for a dangerous tackle; teammate Fonua Pole charged with a fine.

    Zero Tackle

The NRL's Match Review Committee has made a huge call on Apisai Koroisau, hitting him with a monster ban for a hip-drop tackle on Canberra Raiders second-rower Noah Martin.

Koroisau is looking down the barrel of a Grade 2 dangerous contact charge, which will see him miss three matches at an early plea, or if he faces the panel and is found guilty, it gets bumped up to four.

Given that it is his third subsequent offence (he has already had three offences this year), the MRC has come down severely on the Tigers superstar, who ended up in the sin-bin for his actions.

Koroisau's teammate Fonua Pole was also charged with a grade 1 shoudler charge in the 70th minute, and will escape with a $1500 fine if he takes the early plea.
