Levi to Join New Team in 2026

Danny Levi is uncontracted and seeking a new team for the 2026 season overseas.

    LeagueNews.co

Former Canberra Raiders hooker Danny Levi, who is uncontracted, is preparing to join a new team for the 2026 season. After being part of the Raiders for three seasons, his tenure ended with the team's farewell to six players at the close of the 2025 NRL season.

The 29-year-old has played 28 matches in Canberra but found himself sidelined recently, as Tom Starling and rookie Owen Pattie were favored in the hooker position. As a result, Levi has been unable to secure a consistent role in the team.

With his rugby league career still ongoing, Levi is looking to take his talents overseas. He has been connected to a move to the Super League for over a year and is now poised to make a return, having previously played for the Huddersfield Giants in 30 matches back in 2022.
