Hayze Perham replaces injured Reece Walsh for the Broncos, securing his future with a deal through 2027.
Brisbane utility Hayze Perham is set to answer an SOS to replace injured superstar Reece Walsh after being handed a new deal by the Broncos.
Walsh's season-ending ankle injury has opened the door for Perham to challenge for the No.1 jumper for Friday night's clash against the Raiders in Canberra.
The 27-year-old was outstanding deputising for Walsh earlier this season, producing a near man-of-the-match performance in Brisbane's 32-12 belting of the Bulldogs in round 8.
The Broncos believe Perham is such a handy Plan B option to step in for Walsh they have secured the former Bulldogs fullback for the 2027 season.
Perham, who has played 39 first grade games since his debut for the Warriors in 2019, had an existing two-year deal with the Broncos with an option in Brisbane's favour for next season.
