    CRC Major Semi Final Preview

    Queanbeyan Kangaroos will face Queanbeyan Blues in a heated Major Semi-Final rematch this weekend.

    The weekend will feature a Queanbeyan Derby for the Major Semi-Final match when the Queanbeyan Kangaroos host the Queanbeyan Blues on Saturday afternoon.

    In a rematch of the last two grand finals, this is a matchup set to spark fierce anticipation and revenge as the Blues defend their title against the Kangaroos, who are hungry to win it back. 

    The Roos finished the season one win in front of the Blues, and Adam Quinlin says his squad are eager to compete for the title on their home turf. 

    "Obviously we enjoy playing at home, and it's one of our things: try not to get beaten on home soil. We'll have our crowd there and hopefully cheering us on, and just the familiarity of being at home is always good," Quinlan said.

    Jamie Mazzarol Kotz Wins the 2026 Les McIntyre Medal

    Jamie Mazzarol Kotz won the 2026 Les McIntyre Medal for best and fairest in the Canberra Raiders Cup.

    Jamie Mazzarol Kotz of the Queanbeyan Blues has won the 2026 Les Mcintyre Medal, recognised as the best and fairest of the Canberra Raiders Cup competition. 


    The Blues centre narrowly edged out finalists Richie Levita and Tristian Eldridge, securing the award by three votes. 

    2026 was Jamie's second season in the Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup, transition to Rugby League from Union at the beginning of last year, with the talented outside back taking his game to another level this season. 

    The success of Mazzarol Kotz has been mirrored by his side's performances with the Blues qualifying for the Major Semi Final, as they look to go back-to-back for the first time since 2014-15.
