Lipoi Hopoi is leaving Canterbury Bulldogs to join Canberra Raiders for the 2027 season.
The Canterbury Bulldogs appear to have lost another talented young gun with forward Lipoi Hopoi reportedly signing with Canberra for 2027. The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Hopoi will link up with Ricky Stuart's side next season after his current deal with the Bulldogs expires.
The 24-year-old has played 17 NRL games since debuting in 2024, including seven games this season. He's been starved up playing time at the Bulldogs and might get more opportunities in Canberra.
The Raiders could be looking to bolster their forward pack with Josh Papali'i leaving the club in 2027 and speculation as to where Corey Horsburgh's future lies.
