Ethan Sanders wins NRL Rookie of the Year and extends his Raiders contract through 2028 after a successful first season.
NRL Rookie of the Year recognition capped Ethan Sanders' first full season with Canberra in 2026, after he joined the Raiders the previous year.
The club has extended the halfback's contract by one season, keeping him in Canberra through to the end of 2028.
Sanders made his Raiders debut in round 13 of 2025 against the Roosters, helping his side come back to win 26-24.
He said re-signing was an easy choice after the club backed him.
