The agent of Corey Horsburgh has shut down any suggestion that the Raiders prop will leave the club at the end of this season.

It was reported this week that the club won't stand in Horsburgh's way if he wanted an early release from his deal.

Horsburgh is under contract in Canberra until the end of next season but rumours are swirling the rep forward has a desire to return to Queensland, with the Broncos linked to the 28-year-old.

According to Code Sports, Horsburgh faces a significant pay cut if he wants to stay a Raider beyond 2027 and it's likely he'll hit the November 1 deadline and test his market for 2028 and beyond.

However, Horsburgh's agent Jeff Jurotte has labelled any noise that the forward wants out of his current deal prematurely as "speculation".
