The PNG Chiefs eye Canterbury Bulldogs' front-rower King as a potential 2028 recruit, amid Hudson Young chase.
The PNG Chiefs may be in a battle with the Canberra Raiders to land Hudson Young for 2028 but that hasn't stopped them from circling another New South Wales Blues representative for their foundation squad.
According to former St George Illawarra Dragons coach Shane Flanagan and Phil 'Buzz' Rothfield, a former reporter with The Daily Telegraph, the Chiefs have identified Canterbury Bulldogs front-rower as a potential target.
Speaking on Triple M earlier in the week, the pair revealed that King is set to be in Port Moresby come the start of the 2028 season.
Featuring in over 150 matches for the Gold Coast Titans, Melbourne Storm and Bulldogs since his debut in 2017, King has become a leader of Canterbury's forward pack and has taken his game to new heights over the past couple of years.
