    CRRL hosts inaugural TackleReady Graduation

    CRRL celebrates Under 7's TackleReady graduation with personalized certificates before first game.

    The Canberra Region Rugby League (CRRL) held its inaugural TackleReady Program graduation event for all Under 7's, marking a memorable day in their Rugby League journeys. 

    On Sunday, 32 of the 36 Under 7's teams in the CRRL gathered at Curtin Playing Fields for their final TackleReady Program session, before showcasing their skills in their first-ever game of tackle rugby league.

    Each player received their personalised certificate of completion, representing an important milestone in their development as they move on to play tackle rugby league each week.

    Raiders Roll into Grand Final in Inaugural Season

    Rolling Raiders reach Grand Final after dominant win, face Dragons in competition decider.

    The Rolling Raiders have qualified for the Grand Final in their inaugural NSW Cup season following a dominant 42-12 preliminary final win over the Parramatta Eels on Sunday.

    The Raiders will take on the St George Illawarra Dragons this Sunday (30th) at the Menai Indoor Sports Centre at 4:30pm in a massive competition decider. 

    Last Sunday, our Rolling Raiders went into the preliminary final as underdogs against the defending-premiers, the Parramatta Eels.

    The strong Parramatta side boasted three current NSW representatives including NSW co-captain and Australian Wheelaroo Diab Karim.

    She Devils stun Bullettes

    Crookwell She Devils defeat Cootamundra Bullettes 16-8 in George Tooke Shield league tag match.

    The Crookwell She Devils put the Blumers Lawyers George Tooke Shield league tag competition on notice at Crookwell Memorial Oval on Saturday.

    Taking on the red-hot Cootamundra Bullettes in Round Nine of the competition, the She Devils kept the 2023 grand finalists at bay, winning 16-8.

    Captain Jayde Della shone in the vital victory, crossing for a double, while Emma Gallagher picked up a meat pie, and Annie Knight and Bec Hewitt played well to send the Bullettes back home with their tails between their legs.

    It was a massive turnaround for the side from Crookwell, who went down to Cootamundra 28-4 back in Round Two.
