    Across the men's and women's rugby league in Canberra, there was no shortage of drama, as local sports competitions delivered plenty of entertainment on Saturday.

    Yass Magpies fell to the Gungahlin Bulls in the Canberra Raiders Cup where a sin-bin left the commentary team stunned.

    Allan Stars in Return as Bulls Claim Important Win

    Gungahlin Bulls beat Yass Magpies 30-16, with Kane Allan scoring twice and assisting three times.

    The Gungahlin Bulls have defeated the Yass Magpies 30-16 in front of their home fans at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval on Saturday afternoon. 

    A returning Kane Allan provided the Bulls with attacking flair, as the left centre crossed for two tries and set up three in a big win for Gungahlin's finals chances. 

    The Magpies started the better of the two sides, after Lekani Mpaso reclaimed the ball off the kickoff and provided the visitors with an opportunity attacking the try line.
