    Four Monaro Colts Named in Country Squads

    NSWRL announces NSW Country and City players for representative games on May 16-17 at three venues.

    The NSWRL is pleased to announce the following players have been chosen to represent NSW Country and NSW City in the representative fixtures to be played across three venues on the weekend of 16-17 May.

    Seven games will be played across two days at three venues, 4 Pines Park in Brookvale, WIN Stadium in Wollongong and the Blacktown Leisure Centre at Stanhope Gardens, with NSWRL TV on BarTV to showcase all the action.

    The full schedule includes NSW Country v NSW City games for GIO Under 16s Boys, GIO Under 18s Boys, GIO Men's Open Age and GIO Wheelchair Rugby League on Saturday 16 May; and GIO Physical Disability Rugby League, Westpac Under 17s Girls and Westpac Under 19s Women on Sunday 17 May.

    Sharks Remain Undefeated with Win Over the Magpies

    The Belconnen United Sharks remain undefeated after a 50-22 win against the Yass Magpies in the Canberra Raiders Cup.

    The Belconnen United Sharks remain undefeated in the Canberra Raiders Cup after a 50-22 victory against the Yass Magpies at Walker Park.

    The home side came into the game eager to bounce back after falling to the Rams 50-6 last week. Meanwhile, the Sharks are well-rested and ready to build on their undefeated record this season.

    The Sharks received an early penalty to put them in a good spot. An early kick proved ineffective, giving away a seven-tackle set to the Magpies.

    But they redeemed themselves fast, forcing an error that resulted in the home side losing the ball and the Sharks James Thornhill scoring the first try of the game. It was a missed conversion for Jorden Holten-Williams from in front, but the Sharks continued to push.
