    The 2024 Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup and Katrina Fanning Shield seasons concluded with an exciting day of Grand Finals across all five grades at Seiffert Oval on Sunday.

    The Queanbeyan Kangaroos won the Canberra Raiders Cup in back-to-back seasons, while the Yass Magpies secured the Katrina Fanning Shield.

    The Woden Valley Rams enjoyed plenty of success as a club overall by claiming the League Tag, Under 19's, and Reserve Grade premierships.

    Magpies crowned 2024 Katrina Fanning Shield Premiers

    Yass Magpies win 2024 Katrina Fanning Shield with 28-10 victory after securing minor premiership.

    The Yass Magpies secured the 2024 Katrina Fanning Shield premiership with a decisive 28-10 victory.

    After clinching the 2024 minor premiership, Yass have gone on to claim the competitions top honour. 

    It was a fast paced start as Yass halfback Jenna Cook took advantage of some space on the left hand side of the field to snatch the first points of the clash, a successful conversion creating a 6-0 lead.

    The Magpies extended their lead to 10-0 when a quick pass from dummy half allowed Emily Briggs to score under the posts, adding another four-pointer for her side.
