    Dylan McLachlan wins 2024 Les McIntyre Medal, beating Sam Williams by two points in Raiders Cup.

    Dylan McLachlan of the Queanbeyan Blues has won the 2024 Les McIntyre Medal, recognised as the best and fairest player of the Canberra Raiders Cup competition. 

    The talented halfback narrowly edged out finalists Sam Williams and Liam Oakley, securing the win by just two points.

    McLachlan finished on top with 23 points, surpassing last year's McIntyre Medalist, Sam Williams, who polled 21 points.


    McLachlan made his return to Rugby League this year after two seasons playing Rugby Union.

    Erindale College are set to take on Endeavour Sports High in the Peter Mulholland Cup (PMC) preliminary final today at 12:40pm at Campbell Sports Stadium.  

    After their elimination final loss to Patrician Brothers Blacktown, Erindale made the most of their second chance by securing a hard-fought 18-8 victory over Bass High in the semi-final, earning them a place in the prelim.

    They match up against a strong Endeavour outfit that has only lost one of their four games in this year's PMC.

    The wife of Canberra Raiders star Josh Papali'i has been summonsed to face court to be charged with two counts of common assault for her alleged involvement in a brawl at a women's rugby league match.

    Masepa Papali'i, 32, has been issued with a court attendance notice more than a month after footage emerged of an incident at a Katrina Fanning Shield match at Kippax.

    She was banned for 10 years from attending all community rugby league matches in the capital after the Canberra Region Rugby League investigated an alleged breach of the spectator code of conduct.
