The Dolphins have finished a club-best ninth on the ladder after a 62-24 whipping of Canberra but lost hat-trick hero Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to a knee injury.

Tabuai-Fidow, playing centre, started the match four tries behind Sydney Roosters whiz Mark Nawaqanitawase (23) on the NRL season leading try-scoring list.
