Ethan Strange joins NSW legends Brad Fittler and Jarryd Hayne in the honour roll of greatest NSW State of Origin debuts of all-time.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart had been warning us all for 12 months that the NSW five-eighth was the real deal.
And the 21-year-old lived up to his coach's belief.
Strange was incredible, sparking and combining with NSW halfback Nathan Cleary on the game's biggest stage to produce the Blues great escape.
"Playing with all these guys who are legends of the game, I was pinching myself out there,'' Strange said.
