Cronulla's loss to Canberra was worsened by Braydon Trindall's dislocated shoulder, jeopardizing the team's NRL finals hopes and increasing injury concerns.

The Canberra Times

Cronulla are hopeful Braydon Trindall won't miss the NRL finals after the Sharks blew a huge opportunity to move back into the top four with a painful and potentially fatal 24-20 loss to lowly Canberra.

Trindall suffered a dislocated shoulder as the Sharks' second straight slip-up allowed the Dolphins to hold on to the all-important fourth spot with three rounds remaining before the finals.

Cronulla will rue not finding a match-winner, despite being camped on Canberra's line, set after set, for the final 10 minutes.
