Debate has raged over Tyson Gamble's tackle on Jack Wighton that resulted in the Raiders star being banned for three games for biting in retaliation.
"That is extraordinary because you don't see that level of retort from a player to a judiciary chairman and certainly someone of Geoff Bellew's stature," Dave Riccio said.
Wighton took issue with Gamble's tackle being called an 'ordinary tackle' that happens a lot in rugby league in his hearing hitting back at the NRL prosecutor and he drew support from Paul Crawley on NRL 360.
"Fireworks at NRL HQ and Jack Wighton hitting back with, how many NRL games have you played?" Braith Anasta said on NRL 360.
