Hudson Young has joined the PNG Chiefs' glamorous roster.
This masthead has been told Young has agreed to two-year deal with Papua New Guinea from 2028.
Despite his looming exit, Young will likely remain with Canberra next season.
It is understood the Chiefs increased their offer to around $1m a season for Young.
A current State of Origin player, Young will formally announce the deal sometime this week.
