The Canberra Raiders coach said he didn't know anything about Corey Horsburgh potentially returning to his home state of Queensland next year.
Horsburgh's been linked with a potential move to the Brisbane Broncos, despite being contracted to the Green Machine until the end of the 2027 NRL season.
The Raiders haven't given him permission to speak to other clubs and he can't talk to any about 2028 and beyond until November 1 - when he enters the final season of his contract.
