Canberra Raiders forward Elliott Whitehead has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee.
Whitehead has been charged with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for his tackle on Kalyn Ponga.
If he takes the early plea he will face a $750 fine. If he fights the charge and loses he will face a $1,000 fine.
