The Newcastle Knights have advanced to the NRL finals after a thrilling 30-28 victory over the Canberra Raiders in extra time.
The match was not without controversy, as Raiders star Jack Wighton was accused of biting Tyson Gamble but was not sent off.
Gamble showed referee Ashley Klein marks on his forearm, but Klein decided to only place Wighton on report due to insufficient evidence.
Despite the controversy, the Knights emerged victorious and will now face the Warriors in their first away final since 2006.
