Nicho Hynes scare for Sharks, Tom Trbojevic 50/50 for Manly game, Hynes likely to play against Rabbitohs.
Nicho Hynes has given Sharks fans a scare after the halfback failed to finish training on Tuesday, while Manly coach Anthony Seibold admitted star fullback Tom Trbojevic is still 50/50 to play against the Raiders this weekend. Hynes sent a scare through the club this week after failing to finish training having picked up a knock.
Hynes was seen with ice above his knee after the second round victory over the Cowboys on the weekend, but how long he has been injured is unknown. Reports suggest Hynes' injury is just a corked leg and he will play against the Rabbitohs this weekend, but it could be what is holding the No.7 back from continuing with the goal-kicking duties for the club.
Regardless, Hynes is expected to line-up this weekend as he faces young half Jamie Humphrey of the Rabbitohs. While the Sharks won't be too concerned, there is doubt around Trbojevic. The Sea Eagles are looking to bounce back from the loss to the Warriors last week, which saw Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans leave the field.
