Ricky Stuart criticized the Raiders for failing to win Josh Papalii's final home match, ending their season disappointingly.
Ricky Stuart has admitted the Raiders' failure to send club legend Josh Papalii out with a win in his final home match was simply "not good enough".
Holding the lead for the majority of the contest, the Raiders entered the final 20 minutes with a 14-point lead.
However, they would then concede three tries in quick succession through Payne Haas, Grant Anderson and Hayze Perham to give up the lead and ultimately fall victim to the Broncos in a heartbreaking defeat.
To make matters worse, the Raiders have now officially bowed out of the finals race, bringing a disappointing end to their season on a night where they desperately wanted to deliver as Stuart lamented a concerning trend in Canberra's 2026 season.
