Canberra have approached the NRL for salary cap dispensation for Corey Harawira-Naera as the back rower's painstaking wait for a medical clearance enters its sixth month.
Harawira-Naera hasn't played or trained since suffering seizures while playing against South Sydney in late-May. The New Zealand International has conducted a series of meetings with medical experts but is yet to gain a clearance to mount a comeback.
