The Australian

Wests Tigers young gun Javon Andrews has trained at halfback for the club's first grade side in the lead up to their clash with Canberra on Saturday.

The Wests Tigers prepared for their must-win game against last year's minor premiers without Adam Douiehi or Latu Fainu, who both face the judiciary on Tuesday night.

Andrews, who has been the club's best in lower grades and is one of the top attacking players in NSW Cup, suited up in the club's black training shirt which is worn by their first team during scrimmage.

He partnered with departing five-eighth Jarome Luai. The pair was seen discussing shape and plays in warm-up.

When the young half entered the training field on Tuesday, he was apart of a new-look backline alongside Luai, Patrick Herbert, Sunia Turuva, Tino Tavana and Jahream Bula.
