Panthers winger Taylan May can accept a one-week ban from the match review committee or fight his careless high tackle charge and risk missing the grand final.
May was placed on report and sib-binned for a high shot on Eels flyer Will Penisini in their qualifying final on Friday night.
Penrith scored despite May being off and won the game 27-8
.
The 21-year-old can take an early guilty plea and miss his side’s preliminary final in two weeks, or he risks copping two weeks if he fights the charge and loses.
