The Manly Sea Eagles have confirmed that prop Taniela Paseka has undergone surgery to repair his ruptured achilles tendon.

The injury occurred during the Sea Eagles' game against the Canberra Raiders in Round 3 of the 2024 season.

Despite the seriousness of the injury, the Sea Eagles are hopeful that Paseka will be back on the field before the end of the 2025 season, with a recovery window of 16 to 20 weeks.

The team is aiming for Paseka to return by Round 25, but the unpredictable nature of Achilles injuries could affect his timeline.
