Seb Kris

Warriors circle Raiders' centre as Canberra picks up a Bulldog

The Australian

Raiders centre Seb Kris could be on the move with the Warriors circling the Kiwi international.

Kris has 12 months left on his contract with Canberra but they won't stand in his way if he can find a long-term elsewhere. The Warriors have emerged as a potential suitor for the 27-year-old as the club tries to boost its centre spot given Roger Tuivasa-Sheck moving to the Super League at the end of the season.

Kris, who played one Test for New Zealand in 2022, has struggled to keep his spot in the top grade this year despite being a mainstay of the Raiders side in the past six seasons. He has been swapped to the wing, played off the bench and at NSW Cup at times this year.

While Kris may be on the way-out, the Raiders have stolen one of the Bulldogs' own after landing man mountain Lipoi Hopoi to help with their premiership push next season.

The 24-year-old Hopoi has made 17 appearances for the 'Dogs since making is debut two years ago.
