The Raiders secured young prop Ata Mariota's contract extension amid interest in Hudson Young and Corey Horsburgh.

The Canberra Times

The Canberra Raiders have welcomed some positive contract news as two of its biggest stars are being hunted by cashed-up rival clubs.

A day after it was announced veteran hooker Jayden Brailey would depart the Raiders after this season to join the Wests Tigers, Canberra has managed to lock down a key member of its forward pack.

While NSW Blues back-rower Hudson Young is still being courted by the PNG Chiefs and Queensland Origin forward Corey Horsburgh attracts interest from the Perth Bears, young prop Ata Mariota has re-committed to the Raiders.

The 26-year-old has signed an extension to remain at the Raiders until the end of the 2028 season, the club announced on Thursday.
